Many rides at Waterworld California are dynamic and thrilling. There are inherent risks in riding any amusement ride. For your protection, each ride is rated for its special features, such as speed, steep drops, sharp turns or other dynamic features. If you choose to ride, you accept all these risks. Restrictions for guests of extreme size (height or weight) are posted at certain rides. Guests with disabilities should refer to Guest Services for information regarding restrictions. Participate responsibly. You should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions and limitations, Waterworld California does not. If you suspect your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could possibly aggravate a pre-existing condition of any kind, DO NOT RIDE.
Waterworld California’s lifeguards are highly trained and qualified. Please follow their instructions at all times.
Swimwear is required for all rides/attractions. Cut off jeans/shorts, wet suits, swimwear with buttons, zippers, rivets or snaps on the back are not permitted on any slides, or inside the Park. Thong swimsuits, Speedos or other revealing swimwear are not permitted.
Please plan to bring your own beach towels. If you forget to bring one, affordable beach towels are available for purchase at the Tahiti Trader gift shop.
Coast Guard approved life vests are provided free of charge for weak swimmers at the entrance to the Breaker Beach wave pool and entrance to Lil’ Kahuna’s Waterworks. Life vests are not permitted on any slides. Guests may also bring their own life vests, as long as it is Coast Guard Approved.
Arm floaties, kid’s rafts, fun noodles or any other inflatable/flotation device are not permitted inside the Park.
Establish a meeting place for your group before entering the Park. We recommend the Main Plaza Fountain at the entrance of the Park. Instruct children to notify any team member, should they become separated from their party. Park paging is not available. Messages may also be left at Guest Services for separated parties.
Guests may exit and re-enter the same day. Just remember to have your hand stamp at the exit turnstiles to enjoy same day in and out privileges. Re-enter at the entrance turnstiles.
For safety reasons, attractions will close temporarily during inclement weather (i.e., hard rain, lighting, hail, thunder, etc.). As soon as weather conditions improve and deemed safe to do so, attractions will re-open.

All of us at Waterworld California want your visit to be as enjoyable and hassle-free, as it is fun! Below you’ll find a list of general park information, policies and services available to our guests. You will also find a list of tips to help you make the most of your day!
For the safety of our guests and team members, all backpacks, purses and bags will be inspected by Waterworld California Security prior to entering the Park. Weapons, chemical sprays, knives of any kind and graffiti material are not permitted inside the Park.
Waterworld California wants to make your visit as safe as it is fun. Our lifeguards are trained and certified using Jeff Ellis & Associate's International Lifeguard Training Program and our Park follows Jeff Ellis & Associate's Comprehensive Aquatic Risk Management ProgramTM to ensure the competency and confidence of our lifeguards, and the safety of you and your family during your visit.
Outside food or drink, as well as coolers or picnic baskets are not permitted inside the Park. However, for your convenience, a shaded picnic area is located outside the Park, to the right of our ticket windows, at the end of the parking lot. Just remember to have your hand stamped at the exit turnstiles to be re-admitted into the Park after your lunch is complete!
Waterworld California is a family park. Foul language and unruly behavior are not tolerated. No alcohol, weapons, knives or firearms are allowed on the premises. Clothing or body art which Waterworld California determines is rude, vulgar, or contains inflammatory language or graphics is not permitted. No solicitation or unapproved distribution of literature on Park property. For your safety, running, spitting or throwing of objects is not permitted.
Waterworld California advocates the use of cameras in the Park, and there are some available for purchase in the Tahiti Trader gift shop. For your safety, camera use of any kind is not permitted in any pool or on any attraction. Please reserve camera use to members of your group or party while at the Park.
Waterworld California offers a wide selection of beer, wine and wine margaritas for purchase. Per California Department Policies, alcoholic beverages must be consumed in the same location as purchased only.
Waterworld California is a smoke-free park. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes and similar devices) is not permitted inside the Park.
One (1) Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) is located at the Tahiti Trader gift shop, inside the Park.
Fully certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are on duty at all times when the Park is in operation. First Aid is located adjacent to the entrance to the Big Kahuna attraction.
Daily parking is $14 per vehicle. Our parking is very close to the Main Gate Entry. If you’re dropping off your party, simply notify the toll plaza attendant and they will direct you to the Passenger Drop-Off area.
All-day locker rentals are available to store your belongings. Waterworld California is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles.
Attraction specific tubes are provided free of charge for all slides within the Park. However, we do offer daily tube rentals to enhance your experience in our Breaker Beach wave pool and Kaanapali Kooler lazy river attractions. Single tube rentals are $7 each, plus a $3 refundable deposit. Please note: due to California State Regulations, outside tubes and flotation devices are not permitted inside the Park.
